CMM71 Winner & Favorites

* (Current Challenge - Monochromatic - click here!) *

Time for another Challenge Winner and the Design Team Favorites! There weren't as many entries as usual...not a lot of farm animal stamps? (what?! no salmon? LOL) I know here in Virginia school was finishing up, so maybe our Card Makin' Mamas (& Papas) were busy with the end of school year activities? Whatever the case, it wasn't a problem! It just means that those of you that did link up, had an awesome chance of being the winner!

You all did such a great job and I LOVED all of the puns. Lots of smiles and laughs!

Lots of Thanks to our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps! As always they have been so generous with their donations of DT images and fabulous prizes! Be sure to stop by (did you know they offer Friday Freebies?!) and tell them CMM sent ya!

DT Penny | #10 CraftyGirl

This image is so cute, I especially liked your first card with the white cow. You've really made the image pop and you can't help but smile when looking at your project!

Udderly Fantastic! As soon as I saw your card I was laughing! This is THE COW Card. Love the shape and the simplicity of it all. This just goes to show, sometimes we shouldn't over think the challenge themes! Still smiling...

DT Vikki | #24 Helen
As soon as I saw this card it made me smile! Even though it's far too early for Christmas in my opinion (I make the children in my class call it "cabbages" until December) I love the way you've used the image on such a CAS card. Also a great way of using washi tape which I personally really struggle with!

DT Adina | #29 Sarah T
Lovely format and background papers to enhance the most hilarious image I have seen of a goat... ever. :) I loved your use of the white gel pen to enhance the light reflections on the goat, as well as your beautiful ribbon bow.

DT Susan#33 Tammy A. This card made me smile! Love the image and how perfect for an anniversary card. I think the card is really well balanced, lovely use of embellishments and love the mono look!

If you would like to be considered for a DT Fave make your card following the guidelines and theme of the challenge, take good pictures and show us your best work!

DT Vikki | #36 I don't do straight  WOW! I absolutely love this card. The CAS style is perfect and I need that skeleton image! Brilliant to see an 'alternative' card; it's really inspired me to see what kind of unusual images are out there- thanks!

DT Angi | #62 Antoinette  I love all the embellishments and the color scheme of your card; it's like looking into a memory box! Soft and feminine, lots of textures and even though this is such a busy card, the children's silhouettes aren't lost. The star is a wonderful way to set them apart.

DT Penny#115 Steph  This is just beautiful and you've used the Lily of the Valley image perfectly. Your colouring is amazing and I especially like the glow from the lantern upon the ladies face. I could go on and on, from shading to light to dark hair..but simply put this card is my idea of perfect! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

DT Susan#119 Norma  Although I am not a huge Tilda fan, your card is really unusual.  You've coloured the images beautifully, some lovely sentiments and it is not too fussy.  The design of the card is fab and lovely colours and I think it all comes together really well!"

DT Adina | #122 Katie Tate  Your Tilda card represents all things beautiful and sweet. The coloring is magnificent and the color scheme is soft and whimsical. And I love all the little elements that make this so fabulous!

DT Sara#136 niki1  This is just gorgeous! I love the vintage feel to it, the violins and the pockets are perfect!

Welcome to our first *month* long challenge!

We hope that a month long challenge will give you more time to combine your favorite challenges and more time for our Design Team members to leave you some comment love.

As you know, we are no longer doing the Top 3 Picks, but we are adding a new feature:

Design Team Favorites!

We have such a diverse team of designers, that we decided each designer should be able to choose their own favorite to showcase from each challenge!

Winners of the previous challenge announced on the 3rd Friday!

So, here's a quick recap of our guidelines...

Unless the challenge states otherwise, make a card.
Use any image - rubber, clear or digital; any products.
Only link up, if your card fits the theme.
(If it's not obvious, please tell us in your post!)
No back linking - only link up cards dated no earlier than the start date of the challenge.
Only 2 entries per person.

Okay...are you ready?

CMM 71 | June's challenge is:

ON THE FARM (animals)

If it's an animal, and you can find it on the farm...make a card! This should be an easy challenge. After all, there are all kinds of farms these days! Rabbits, deer, salmon, cows, pigs...

This fun challenge is sponsored by the wonderful...
