We hope you've enjoyed our summer break and are looking forward to seeing and creating lovely paper goodness as much as we are!

On Break

Hello, CMM Mamas & Papas!

You've probably notice it's been quiet on the CMM Challenge...We have appreciated the emails. 

It's time for a break! All of our Designers and work behind the scenes people are volunteers. It takes a LOT of TIME to design, take pictures, find sponsors, write the blog posts, answer emails...I'm sure you get the picture. All of this and try to keep a semblance of a life outside of crafting (Is there life outside of crafting?!)...it's hard work! LOL

***The CMM Challenge will be on a break until the end of August.***

That means there will be no challenges until the beginning of September.

HOWEVER, you may see tutorials, ideas, inspirations and other crafty love on occasion (no promises, but it could happen!). Be sure to join the CMM Facebook Group - where you'll hear everything first! We don't want you miss anything!

And, of course, feel free to visit the Mojo Mamas to see what craftiness they have gotten themselves into!

Hello, Paper Artists!

We are shakin' things up a bit around here...a few subtle and not so subtle changes are coming to the 2014 CMM Challenge! Starting with a Design Team Call!!!

Have you ever wanted to be a Mojo Mama?! Share your fab creations with a bigger audience? Even on occasion design with sponsors and companies and their products? Work with a group of like minded paper artists to inspire and be inspired?

Now is your chance!

The CMM Challenge is looking to add to our fabulous Design Team! We will be a twice a month challenge (the 1st and 3rd Friday) beginning in January 2014. We are looking for a variety of styles, so please submit only your best projects that showcase YOUR style - anything goes!

Design Team Responsibilities:
* You must have an active blog and a Facebook account. We have a private FB group for the DT to communicate and upload challenge photos and such. Be willing to share feedback, planning for continued improvement of the challenge/blog/group, etc.

* Help promote CMM and your teammates by adding our link and badge to your blog, including links to the DT members' blogs.

* Create a new project following the challenge theme twice a month and take good photos of your project. If the challenge is sponsored, you must be willing to use the images provided. You will need to upload your project photo the Wednesday before the Friday challenge.

*Any time on Friday you will publish your project on your blog with a link for readers to visit the CMM Challenge blog to see more inspiration and to add their entry to the link up. If the challenge is sponsored you will also share the sponsor's badge and link.

* Comment on participants' entries. Don't worry...each DT member has assigned numbers. This is not optional, folks! Everyone appreciates a little comment love!

* Frequent and participate in the CMM Fans FB group at least once a week, such as sharing other projects, links, commenting, etc.

If you are able to fulfill those obligations, and you're ready to apply, please email the application (or any questions) to:

Application:
1. Name and blog address
2. pictures of 3-5 projects showcasing your style (new or old)
3. Why do you want to be a part of the CMM DT?
4. Will you be able to commit to making and posting 2 projects a month, commenting on all assigned entries and participating in the CMM Fans FB group as discussed?
5. This design team term begins January 3 and ends April 30, 2014.

We hope that a month long challenge will give you more time to combine your favorite challenges and more time for our Design Team members to leave you some comment love.

As you know, we are no longer doing the Top 3 Picks, but we are adding a new feature:

Design Team Favorites!

We have such a diverse team of designers, that we decided each designer should be able to choose their own favorite to showcase from each challenge!

So, here's a quick recap of our guidelines...

✮ Unless the challenge states otherwise, make a card.

✮ Use any image - rubber, clear or digital; any products.

✮ Only link up, if your card fits the theme.
(If it's not obvious, please tell us in your post!)

✮ No back linking - only link up cards dated no earlier than the start date of the challenge.

✮ Only 2 entries per person.
