And now on to our new Design Team Favorites - where the Design Team chooses one of your cards and gives YOU a creative high five!

DT Vikki | #36 I don't do straight  WOW! I absolutely love this card. The CAS style is perfect and I need that skeleton image! Brilliant to see an 'alternative' card; it's really inspired me to see what kind of unusual images are out there- thanks!

DT Angi | #62 Antoinette  I love all the embellishments and the color scheme of your card; it's like looking into a memory box! Soft and feminine, lots of textures and even though this is such a busy card, the children's silhouettes aren't lost. The star is a wonderful way to set them apart.

DT Penny#115 Steph  This is just beautiful and you've used the Lily of the Valley image perfectly. Your colouring is amazing and I especially like the glow from the lantern upon the ladies face. I could go on and on, from shading to light to dark hair..but simply put this card is my idea of perfect! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

DT Susan#119 Norma  Although I am not a huge Tilda fan, your card is really unusual.  You've coloured the images beautifully, some lovely sentiments and it is not too fussy.  The design of the card is fab and lovely colours and I think it all comes together really well!"

DT Adina | #122 Katie Tate  Your Tilda card represents all things beautiful and sweet. The coloring is magnificent and the color scheme is soft and whimsical. And I love all the little elements that make this so fabulous!

DT Sara#136 niki1  This is just gorgeous! I love the vintage feel to it, the violins and the pockets are perfect!

If you would like to be considered for a DT Fave make your project following the guidelines and theme of the challenge, take good pictures and show us your best work!

No Patterned Paper Inspiration

I love patterned paper. All the designs, the combinations of colors, themes, textures...all the work has been done and all we have to do is create something with it, right?!

Not this time...

This challenge is NO PATTERNED PAPER. This means if it came with a label, you probably can't use it...only plain cardstock. Now, you can dress it up any way you like...consider it an opportunity to use those stamps, inks, folders, paints, tapes, etc. and make your very own custom designer papers!

Our challenge is sponsored by My Creative Classroom - donating a seat in any class!

Look at what some of the DT came up with.

Need more inspiration? How about a peek at some of your cards!

shares her process for making this background...so fab!
another tutorial! cute boy & girl versions...

CAS and acetate...stunner!

Layered up, CAS, somewhere in the middle...it's your call! Check out the other participants - lots of generous crafters have shared tutorials or links on how they designed their own papers!

We would LOVE to take the time to link up your project, if the Inlinkz link is missing or not working, but ONLY if you provide the following information in the comments section of the Challenge Post:

CAS Inspiration

Happy Saturday! Did you spend the day your jammies? (was that just me?!) Having a great weekend? Have you entered our CAS challenge? I know you want to get your craft on...CAS style...so take a peek at the projects below and then link up your CAS card!

(CLICK HERE TO LINK UP YOUR PROJECT)

Not sure what CAS is?

1. CAS - Clean And Simple
2. uncluttered, not busy
3. lots of 'white space' = open SPACE...does not have to be white (just because there's an empty space doesn't mean you have to fill it!)
4. one main focal point

I have been told that CAS is a card design that will be easy and quick to duplicate. If you're like me, someone who loves to use paper, fibers and embellishments, CAS can be a tough challenge! Well, you know you can count on CMM to help you grow creatively!

Our CAS challenge is sponsored by Meljen's Designs.

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family.  Meljen's Designs has new releases monthly along with a new challenge every Thursday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the MELJEN'S STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

Now on to our CAS inspirations...

Don't forget to let the designer's know you stopped by their cards! I hope that you've found some CAS inspiration. Looking forward to seeing your projects!
